a-ha
a-ha est un groupe norvégien formé en 1982 et séparé en 2010 puis reformé en 2015.
il est composé du chanteur Morten Harket, du guitariste Pål Waaktaar-Savoy et du claviériste Magne Furuholmen.
leur premier single Take on Me en 1985 (une première version était sortie, sans succès, en 1984) permet au groupe de connaître un succès mondial, atteignant la première place aux États-Unis. Les trois singles suivants, The Sun Always Shines on T.V., Train of Thought et Hunting High and Low confortent le succès.
un second album, Scoundrel Days (1986), aux singles: I've Been Losing You, Manhattan Skyline et Cry Wolf assoient durablement a-ha dans une dynamique de tournées triomphales en Europe,car aux États-Unis, le succès ne sera pas réitéré.
Ils enchaînent avec un troisième Stay on These Roads (1988), composé à la hâte; le succès s'en ressent. Ils ont entre-temps interprété la chanson du James Bond Tuer n'est pas jouer (The Living Daylights).
1990, l'un des albums les plus aboutis, East of the Sun, West of the Moon. Le disque est un relatif échec, même si Crying in the Rain, premier single tiré remporte un succès important.
Leur cinquième album, Memorial Beach en 1993 est celui qui remporte le moins de succès.l'année suivante, après un single pour les Jeux paralympiques de Lillehammer, Shapes That Go Together, a-ha se sépare, l'ambiance étant devenue pesante.
Les membres d'a-ha renouent contact en 1998.
2002 sort le pléthorique album Lifelines. La tournée qui s'ensuit est couronnée de succès 2005 sort Analogue. Les singles Celice, Analogue, Birthright et Cosy Prisons remportent un beau succès, la critique est élogieuse, et leur tournée est un énorme succès en Europe.
Le dernier album d'a-ha, Foot of the Mountain sort en juin 2009. le groupe se séparera à la fin 2010, à l'issue d'une dernière tournée mondiale. a-ha figure parmi les groupes ayant connu une rare longévité (28 ans d'existence presque ininterrompu).
Le groupe se reformera le temps d'un concert unique, à l'occasion d'une cérémonie d'hommage national aux victimes des attentats de 2011 en Norvège.
2015, le groupe donne une conférence de presse pour officialiser leur retour. le groupe norvégien prépare un nouvel album Cast in Steel.

En 1977, j'étais disquaire sur la côte normande, à Deauville. Le premier maxi 45 tours que j'ai été amené à vendre, c'était "Rockollectioo" par Laurent Voulzy. Durée : 12 minutes environ !
